My wife and I went to visit our friends in Missouri this past weekend to take in a Chiefs vs Browns game and while I was there I decided to shoot their two children, Tristan a senior and Kristan a middle schooler.  At first they were giving me strange looks as I set up a three light system and told them to stand in a certain place, which happened to be a few feet from the living room wall.  Yes I had forgotten our backdrops and went back to old school for this particular shoot.  My buddy Dave handed Kristan a bat and asked me if I remembered Bo Jackson?  I froze a bit because his daughter was in a basketball uniform, but I went ahead and rolled with it anyway.  After all he is my friend.  When I was done shooting, Kristan asked if she could see the pic and I said sure.  When I pulled it up on the back of the camera she gave me a funny look,  said thank you, smiled, and went to her room.  Once I exported the card it donned on me that she had no idea that the shots taken were for composites and I chuckled a bit thinking of her reaction earlier in the day.  Well here is the end result and she loved it which I was very happy she did.  By the way, she plays softball too, so be looking for her next composite soon.
